Child Care Subsidy

All CCDA dayhomes qualify for government support!

Being a licensed agency, we have the privilege of securing government funding for childcare on behalf of our families.

This initiative significantly lowers childcare expenses. Starting January 1, 2022, this encompasses the Alberta Childcare Subsidy along with the Federal Childcare Affordability Grant.

Families meeting the criteria can benefit from both the Alberta subsidy and the Federal grant.

We're here to assist you in comprehending your options and accessing government support. Delve into the details of each funding type below.

Alberta Child Care Subsidy

The Alberta Childcare Subsidy stands as a program designed to aid eligible families in managing childcare expenses for their children attending regulated child care programs, such as family day home programs administered by a licensed agency.

This subsidy operates on an income-based model, allowing you to potentially qualify for full or partial support depending on your specific circumstances.

Applying for this funding is essential, although the funds will be directly allocated to your chosen program. For a deeper understanding of requirements and application processes, explore further information here.

IMPORTANT: Starting from 2022, the income threshold for subsidy has experienced a significant elevation. Families with a combined income of up to $179,999 are now eligible!
